MICHELLE A. CAMACHO

Michelle Camacho is a criminal defense attorney based in downtown San Diego.  Her practice focuses on all criminal matters.  Attorney Camacho has jury trial experience in criminal cases in both federal and state court, including high profile cases.  On the federal side, she has experience in cases involving drug trafficking, drug distribution, child pornography, possession of a firearm, wire fraud, illegal entry, and compassionate release.  In state court, she has worked on cases involving murder, manslaughter, rape, child molest, fraud, controlled substances, resisting arrest, domestic violence, DUI, among others.  She also helps her clients with various forms of post-conviction relief, including motions to reduce felonies to misdemeanors, petitions for certificates of rehabilitation, and petitions for dismissal.   Attorney Camacho is admitted to practice law in the State of California and in the United District Court for the Southern District of California.  In addition, she volunteers her time serving as Co-Chair of the American Constitution Society-San Diego Lawyer Chapter Executive Board.
